Yes — UK law requires us to verify entitlement to the registration before dispatch. You'll be prompted to upload your V5C / driving licence after checkout.

Are 4D plates road legal?

Accepted Answer

Yes — provided they use the Charles Wright font in solid black with no shading, gradient or 3D illusion. Our 4D acrylic plates are fully compliant.

Are show plates legal on the road?

Accepted Answer

No. Show plates are for exhibition, photography and private land only. Using them on the road is an offence.

What's the difference between 3D gel and 4D?

Accepted Answer

3D gel uses domed resin over printed vinyl — a glossy, raised look. 4D uses solid 5mm acrylic characters laser-cut and bonded on top — the deepest, sharpest finish.

Orders placed before 2pm GMT ship the same working day. Most UK addresses get next-day delivery.
